Parallel Lines

Parallel Lines are two lines in a geometric plane that never intersect.

Lines A and B are parallel. This can be represented by writing A || B.

Perpendicular Lines

Perpendicular Lines are two lines in a geometric plane that intersect to form a 90 degree angle.

Above, lines A and B are now perpendicular.
