Writing Fractions as Decimals

A Fraction can be written in Decimal Form by dividing the numerator by the denominator.

Figure 1.

When you have a 0 at the end of your decimal form number, it is a terminating decimal.

When you last value of your decimal form number does not terminate, it has a repeating decimal.

A repeating decimal can be represented by drawing a bar above the number.
