Consecutive Integers

Consecutive Integers are integers as they appear in counting order.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5...

If you start with an even number and count by two, you’re counting consecutive even integers.

2, 4, 6...

If you start with an odd number and count by two, you’re counting consecutive odd integers.

1, 3, 5...

Number Theory

The study of the relationships between numbers is called Number Theory.
