Commutative Property of Addition

This property states that numbers can be added together in any order without changing the resulting sum.

Take the following equation:

2 + 5 + 6 + 2 = 15

Written in any order, these four numbers will always sum to 15.

6 + 5 + 2 + 2 = 15

5 + 2 + 6 + 2 = 15

2 + 2 + 5 + 6 = 15
